A Fantastic, exciting and forward thinking, global client of ours in Peterborough are looking for an Interim Finance Business Partner to join them and bridge the gap in between two permanents. This role would suit a candidate with a good blend of both business partnering and operations experience and has the capacity to pay up to £350 per day on a PAYE basis inside of IR35.

The role:

* To ensure stakeholders knowledge of business performance and business issues is appropriate, current, and accurate.
* To support two key businesses, key people, markets, and operations. For those EUM's, develop insight into business performance issues, and opportunities. To condense, summarise and prioritise information.
* To bring high quality finance reports, insight, and recommendations to support business decision making and performance management.
* To develop and continually raise the bar in terms of the quality of financial analysis provided. Furthermore, to seek to improve efficiency and control over the services provided including identifying and implementing opportunities to automate / systemise.

* To have depth and breadth of understanding of what is happening within and around the business, including insight into underlying performance.
* To generate and present insightful, concise, and accurate information regarding the actual and predicted performance of the business to senior management.
* Provision of reporting, planning & analysis, working closely with other finance contacts (global, regional, site and Head Office) and non-finance (Project Management, Marketing, Technical Leads, regional and global commercial teams).
* Performance management including:
─ Reporting, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and 5 Year Plans.
─ Supporting analysis, commentary, and presentations.
─ Enabling tools including sales reports, opportunity trackers, and pricing trackers.
─ Monitoring progress versus incentive targets.

Experience needed:

Essential:
* An accounting qualification.
* At least 5 years of post-qualification finance experience.
* Experience in business performance management including reporting and forecasting.
* Track record of providing analysis and insight to support business decision making.
* Commercial acumen.
Desirable:
* Language skills (e.g., Italian / Spanish).
* Experience in working with remote team / stakeholders.
* Experience working in a flexible networked organisation structure.
* Experience working in FMCG
