IT Manager - Systems, Applications

Top opportunity for a hands-on IT Manager to take ownership of the business's IT Infrastructure and Applications setup as well as offering guidance and development to the IT team.
You will get the chance to work for an organisation that has traded for over 70 years, is very financially stable and has big investment plans for the IT Infrastructure. Experience working in Manufacturing, Warehousing or Logistics environments will be a big plus.
With the help of the team and providers you will maintain the HR Systems, WMS (Warehouse management systems), ERP and Network/Server Infrastructure.

Role/Responsibilities
The position is suited to an IT Manager that can work with 3rd party support providers and develop business information from the mass of data.
Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:
IT / Business Systems
IT Security - firewalls, antivirus
Database / Data Integrity / Data Security
Documentation & procedures
Business information generation

Candidates should possess experience of:
Microsoft Operating Systems (server & desktop)
Domain Management
Scripting, MS SQL, report writing
MS Office
Maintain and Support of ERP systems
Support for telephone system or similar VOIP systems.
VMWare (virtual servers).
Exchange server, spam filters.
