As the IT Project Manager for this family run business, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Financial Director - plus take leadership and responsibility of all IT Operations and strategy.

Key Responsibilites
- To review IT infrastructure and determine the best cost-effective strategy to mitigate risk and move where practical systems and data into a cloud environment.
- Present business cases for improvement ideas
- Manage the software and hardware projects delivering regular updates and ensuring enough resource is applied to implementation and training.
- Collaborate throughout the business to explain the data storage strategy and manage the transition process to a successful outcome
- Evaluate current business systems and their suitability to the current and future functions. Establish which systems to replace, develop and ultimately which system to sideline through thorough understanding of business processes and researching appropriate systems.
- Listen to users around their system and hardware issues and factor into decision making in respect of projects.
- Research latest trends in application software to enhance the company offering in line with internal operational demands and/or customer requirements.
- Manage the IT budget for both infrastructure, application, and training costs. Manage the support contracts and contractors
- Implement shop floor data capture system, maximising the user interface of the terminals to add additional functionality.
- Work with Production management and teams to embed system and gain user acceptance.
