We are looking for a Lab Technician with a Chemistry background to join a friendly, family-owned company based in Saffron Walden.
The company manufacture and supply equipment for laboratories all over the world and you will be working within a team of engineers and scientists to develop world leading products for chemists.
The Role:
- Carrying out build and test of lab equipment, including components, assemblies, jigs, etc.
- Planning safe, controlled experiments
- Recording, analysing and reporting data clearly and accurately
- Ensuring the lab and testing areas are kept clean and tidy
What do you need to apply?
- Chemistry / Chemical engineering background
- Testing and / or experimental experience
- Ability to communicate with suppliers and customers
What else would be useful?
- Experience working with scientific instruments
- Knowledge of scientific software
