Well, we are currently looking to recruit for an immediately available Temporary Logistics Administrator to work as part of a Warehouse and Logistics team based in St. Ives, Cambridgeshire for around 2-3 months initially. This role will be looking to pay between £9.00ph-£11.00ph and will be Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm - however these hours can be flexible to 8:30am-4:30pm.
As a Logistics Administrator, you will be responsible for all asset and inventory management and any associated order fulfilment. This role will be based in a fast-paced environment and will need an individual who can keep up with the demanding workload. You may be maintaining a database by inputting data, ensuring the management of stock including ordering of spares, managing delivery and invoicing on the SAP system, as well as placing stock orders and raising PO's.
It is desirable to have an understanding of logistics solutions and a basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, however this is not essential. Previous customer service experience is a must, along with an excellent administrative background. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational, written and communication skills with the ability to work to a high standard of accuracy, timeliness and efficiency. The ability to schedule and plan activities whilst reaching deadlines is essential, as well as having a positive approach to work.
