You will be working with a small, close knit team ensuring a seamless Logistics service is provided, partnering closely with other departments such as Quality and Supply Chain you will be acting as a crucial piece of the jigsaw. This temporary, 3 month position will be based in the offices 5 days a week at Cambridge Science Park, it will be paying an hourly rate between £13.50 - £15.00ph
As a Logistics Administrator you will need to ensure you are able to follow process, speak up when something doesn't look right, be confident in managing a busy and demanding workload. You'll have a naturally inquisitive mind and really enjoy working with fact not fiction.
To be successful in the role the key areas you need to have experience and confident in are;
- Co-ordination - think scheduling engineers, arranging couriers, partnering with production teams
- Compliance - any highly regulated industry, updating documents etc.
- People skills - customer service, this could be external or internal
- Administration - we're looking at excellent attention to detail here, fact checking, data input, document preparation
With this position being a Logistics Operations Administrator role previous experience within this field is ideal - this isn't however essential, and our client is very much open to looking at transferable skill sets for the right, tenacious and experienced individual.
