Our client is a recognised name in the local area and they are going through some exciting changes that mean there is a need for a post-qualified Management Accountant to join their finance team.
The role will be fast-paced and varied and duties will include
- Production of month end management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations and journals
- Analysis of figures for reporting purposes
- Cashflow reporting and monitoring
- Intercompany accounts
- Process review and implementing improvements
- Capex review
- Business partnering with operational managers and attending meetings as appropriate
- Assisting with year end audit
- Ad hoc reporting
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar role and will be a post-qualified accountant. Exposure to a manufacturing or construction environment would be ideal and experience working with ERP systems a distinct advantage. Advanced Excel skills are crucial.
A self-motivated approach and the ability to interact with personnel at all levels are essential attributes alongside an analytical nature and the ability to work in a complex business.
This role will be fully site-based in Huntingdon and the hours of work are 8-5pm, Monday to Friday.
