I am working with a leading FMCG business in their search for a Management Accountant.
This role sits within a small finance function that is part of a large, busy site that employs over 300 people.
Ideally, you'll come with some previous experience of working within FMCG, although this is not essential - providing you have management accounts experience and you are part qualified.
Your duties will include the following:
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual financial forecasts.
- Weekly accounts preparation
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Period end reconciliations
- Accruals and prepayments, posting journals and general month end support.
- Assist the Financial Controller in reporting and analysing financial results.
- Support Commercial and NPD teams with costing and pricing for new and existing products.
- Support Capex processes including identifying capex projects and owning the fixed asset register
- Analyse and provide feedback on product pricing and costing to generate value.
- Manage and maintain the site's standard costs.
- Prepare the weekly MI Pack reporting site results.

This is a full time role, working in the office Monday to Friday.
