Marketing Data Anaylst - Peterborough (2days in the office) - Salary up to £35,000

I'm supporting a hugely successful company within the Audio and Publishing space. They are looking for an experienced Marketing Data Analyst to join their team, working closely with the CRM & Marketing Manager.

This is a pivotal role working across all teams in the B2B department, supporting multiple workstreams, change projects and business as usual goals.

Marketing Data Analyst:

Responsibilities include...

  • Supporting CRM & Marketing manager in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns; analysis, segmentation and reporting (magazines, digital and events)
  • Focus on driving revenue, acquisition and retention of customer audiences.
  • Drive the integrity of data - collated and maintained to be able to produce accurate analyis, reporting and segmentation.
  • As a brand ambassador, manage changes to the email marketing templates, ensuring that all users remain compliant and on-brand
  • Deliver campaign tactics for customer-led multichannel marketing plans for engagement and acquisition and retention; from segmentation of audience, building campaigns and reporting of campaign success metrics that support Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)
  • Administer the Email Service Provider (Adestra) new starters, advising on Email Marketing best practice; ensuring importing / data mapping and data table management rules are clear, and support on queries that need to be raised via the Adestra Account Manager
  • Managing data imports and list management, to drive data strategy in achieving completeness, uniqueness, consistency and accurate database values

This is a hybrid position where you will be working from home and their office location in Peterborough (minimum of 2 day per week).

About You:

  • 3 years marketing experience in a similar position (within publishing would be advantageous)
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, analysis, and the ability to interrogate is your superpower.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office understanding, especially Excel, with proven success using v-lookups is a must!
  • Experience of working with CRM / database management systems and processes.
  • Able to use your own initiative, working autonomously, but also collaborating and communicating exceptionally within a team.
  • Experience of working with Email Service Providers.
  • Previous experience of working with analytical tools/platforms.
