We are looking for an immediately available candidate to join a thriving team based in St Neots as an Order Fulfilment Planner/Administrator on a fixed term contract up until 24th December 2021.

This role is looking to pay between £18,000-£20,000pa and will mainly consist of providing exceptional support for the Order Fulfilment and Customer Service team to ensure that accurate information on products is entered into the systems. This will then enable the customer service teams to provide their customers with exact dates for shipment of orders to improve the level of stocks held.

In this role, you will be managing a variety of orders to ensure that the business supplies all customer orders correctly and efficiently. You will be working closely with the Department Lead to organise resolution of any disruptions, whilst implementing corrective actions accordingly. You will need to make sure that purchase orders are confirmed with the suppliers within the agreed timeframe whilst also ensuring everything is correctly imputed into the ERP systems. Liaising with the Customer Service team will be a big part in this role as it is essential that accurate information is passed onto customers on a daily basis (e.g. Notifications of early shipment or delayed goods).
Other duties may include:

  • Expediting supplies as and when required
  • Managing inventory levels across the warehouses
  • Additional Order Fulfilment administration as and when required

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within Production Planning or Manufacturing and will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. We are looking for a strong team player who has the ability to work collaboratively. You will need to be organised, detail orientated, methodical and extremely analytical. You must have experience in being customer-focused and adaptable in a fast-moving environment with frequent priority/demand changes. Excellent IT skills is essential, ideally with a good understanding of MRP systems and advanced Excel skills.
