Our client is a global business in an ever-growing sector and as part of their continuous drive to improve systems this part-time payroll contract will allow the manager of the team to focus on a T & A implementation project.

Working circa 24 hours week, the role will take on responsibility for the weekly payroll processing.

Working as part of a small and friendly team, the role will include

Processing end to end weekly payroll for circa 1000 employees
Managing employee records, starters, and leaver workflows
Dealing with Third Parties such as court orders, Unions and HMRC
Audit and payroll reporting
Reconciling pension and payroll month end journals
Statutory calculations
Handling and resolving payroll queries

This role will suit someone who has proven experience of payroll and enjoys being busy.

Experience working with payroll software and being capable of working to deadlines whilst remaining approachable to staff is also very important to the success of this role.

Hybrid working is commonplace in this business and you are not expected to go in to the office that often, but can do if that is how you prefer to work.

Ideally working across three days, the hours could be split across four or five days. Whilst the role is a contract initially, there is scope for longevity beyond for the right person.
