Planning & Inventory Manager | Bury St Edmunds | £50,000 - £60,000

A unique opportunity here for those who enjoy leading a planning function & keeping their hands very much involved in the day to day - with no team to manage!

The company are a huge name in the UK FMCG industry, with several sites in the area and a lot of opportunity to develop your career.

Naturally, with the salary range & benefits on offer, we are looking for someone at the top of their game. You'll need to have some of the experience gained from senior positions too, such as high-level reporting and being able to engage with top-level stakeholders.

Your role will be own the planning strategy, ensuring a robust supply chain of getting products to customers with minimal issues and ensuring cost remains under control. There's a wide range of planning experience required - material, production & inventory - in addition to excellent excel skills and knowledge of S&OP + IBP principles.

What will you need?

  • A successful supply chain career within FMCG manufacturing covering multiple different types of planning
  • Excellent excel skills, BI reporting & exposure to ERP software
  • Happy to be "on the tools" doing the planning yourself, rather than your team doing it
  • Great communication skills internally & externally
