You will spend time with the various businesses in the group to understand their needs from catering to stationary along with services and utilities you will put your systems in place, negotiate new contracts, test out new suppliers and use your buying power to reduce costs and streamline the process.

The role in a, Christmas, nutshell is to manage the group's procurement function, improve controls and deliver efficiencies, simple right? Day to day you will be:
The go to person and the central point for all company purchasing
- Streamline the current purchasing
- Set up processes
- Raise PO Numbers
- Monitor spend
- Keep within budget
- Set up an approved supplier list
- Negotiate terms of business
- Setting pricing and payment terms
- Cost analysis of current suppliers versus new vendors
- Work with stakeholders to advise of the best processes
- Review supplier lists
- Contribute to Equality and Diversity duty
- Undertake other procurement duties in line with the Financial Controller requests.
- Collect 23% pension!
