Recruitment Assistant - temp for 6 months (temp to perm)

The business are in need of a Recruitment Assistant to provide an effective end to end recruitment service and to meet growth plans. You will also provide general admin support to the HR and wider team, ensuring best practice is followed.

You will need to be within a commutable distance of St Ives, Cambridgeshire and will be offered a hybrid working pattern that would consist of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home as a standard expectation.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in writing job descriptions, job adverts and interview questions.
  • Upload job adverts to the applicant tracking system (ATS) and make vacancies live on various job boards.
  • Liaise with the marketing team to ensure all vacancies are promoted on social media platforms.
  • Track vacancies and applications, liaising with hiring manager/team as appropriate.
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies, arranging interviews and giving feedback as appropriate.
  • Arrange and schedule interviews, checking availability with the internal team.
  • Conduct right to work checks.
  • Prepare offer paperwork for review.
  • Add new starters to the HRIS.
  • Assist with onboarding new starters, including arranging induction plans.
  • Undertake any other duties for the team as and when required.

Ideally you will have experience working in a fast-paced office environment, using HRIS and ATS systems.
You will also possess strong IT skills, have an organised approach and the ability to work collaboratively to carry out tasks effectively and efficiently.

CIPD level 3 or above would be advantageous but experience in recruitment processes would be essential.
