The One Group are pleased to be working with an Automotive testing and development company based in Bedfordshire who are seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join their Engine Test Centre where you will have the responsibility to support engine, fuel and additive testing.
Working within state-of-the-art testing facilities with one of the most reputable Automotive testing and development companies in the UK you will have the opportunity to work on some interesting projects for customers focusing on Fuel and Lubes alternatives for products of the future.
The day to duties include:
- Deliver engine hardware, calibration, fuels and additive testing projects
- Generate engine installation packs and schematics for accurate test bed setups
- Identify engine/test delivery faults and lead effective solutions
- Analyse engine data and understand correct trends and causes for concerns
What we are looking for:
- Automotive Engineering HND/Degree with a sound understanding of engine fundamentals and materials characteristics
- Use of engine test cell equipment and software including engine dynos, instrumentations, and calibration tools
- Understanding of test bed controls
- Working knowledge of test automation systems
- Engine validation exposure including basic management systems
