The role is essentially an Electronics Test Engineer but there's a lot more to it than that. We're looking for someone who knows lots about Manufacturing Engineering and can take the lead on all the associated documentation, look after quality as well as looking after all of the Test. You'll also be responsible for making sure production runs smoothly and the product is manufactured correctly.

Skill wise, the key thing here is that you'll have experience with RF. Of course, you'll also need to be a strong all-rounder and have extensive technical experience in Electronics and specifically; Test, Fault-finding, Debugging and Repair. It would also be really useful if you have Programming experience.

It's vital that you can come in and hit the ground running. Confidence is key, here. You'll regularly be talking to suppliers and mingling with internal teams to get stuff done. You're the 'do-er' in the team.

Background wise, you're likely to have worked in a high-volume electronics production business and have a good understanding of NPI. The products you'll be working with are both high and low volume and so an appreciation of those lower volume, higher end products is important.
