Role: Systems Test Engineer

Salary: circa £60,000 - £80,000

Location: Cambridgeshire - Hybrid.

Our client, a leading technology company based in Cambridge are on the lookout for a Systems Test Engineer due to a period of growth and a significant contract win.

This role requires a good understanding of 5G NR/LTE 3GPP standards, from the physical layer through the protocol stack, as well as experience working in a similar role on LTE & UMTS Network Architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing and Validation: Conducting comprehensive testing of 5G NR SA Fixed Wireless Access solutions
  • Debugging and Issue Resolution
  • Design and execute test cases and plans for our 5G NR FWA solutions

About you:

  • Proven experience as a Test Engineer, with a focus on 3GPP 4G/5G wireless communications
  • A good understanding of 5G NR Standalone Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) networks, including network architecture, protocols, and standards
  • Experience with test tools and software, including signal analysers, network simulators, and test automation
