Our client is a friendly and welcoming business with offices just outside the town centre in Huntingdon.

Following a restructure they are now looking to recruit someone to join their small finance team primarily to focus on purchase ledger and payroll but also get involved with other aspects of accounts administration.

Reporting in to the Head of Finance your duties will include;

Processing purchase invoices, checking against POs
Handling and resolving supplier queries
Statement reconciliations
Seeking authorisation
Setting up BACS payments for review
Expenses processing
Monthly and weekly payroll processing
Running job costing reports
Covering for sales ledger when required

The successful candidate will ideally have experience of both purchase ledger and payroll but training will be provided on the latter if necessary.

Experience of Sage 50 would be a distinct advantage but a good working knowledge of Excel is essential.
