Role: Software Application Developer

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000

Location: Cambridgeshire - Hybrid.

Our client, a leading technology company based in Cambridge are on the lookout for 2 Software Application Developers due to a period of growth. They are looking for a range of skills and experience with a key focus on the UI/UX Front End development, Database manipulation and management and Geospatial GIS, Mapping & Data Visualization for Planning tools. The posts would suit Front-End, Back-End or full stack developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executing full lifecycle software development (SDLC)
  • Developing Front End and Back End SW features
  • Managing code documentation and version control
  • Designing, building, testing, and deploying software applications and features
  • Programming well-designed, testable, efficient code
  • Troubleshooting and debugging software
  • Producing specifications

About you:

  • Skilled in using HTML, CSS, and/or JavaScript
  • Knowledge of Front-end frameworks like React, Angular or Vue.JS
  • Back end development using Java, Python and/or PHP.
  • Familiarity with Back End frameworks like Django, Spring Boot and/or Laravel
  • Proficiency in Java or C++ or C#
  • Any knowledge within 5G / LTE / WAN desirable
