Application Support Analyst - Dynamics, SQL Server
Top opportunity for an Application Support Analyst to work for a well-known, tech focused retailer in the fashion sector. The position offers great flexibility in terms of remote home working and the chance go work on specialist applications in a modern, employee focused workplace.
You will work to ensure the day to day running of applications providing fast resolution to incidents, recognising when root cause has been rectified and adding to systems backlog. The business have a great reputation and are well known for their employee perks and benefits.
Tech - Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 , MS SQL Server, Dynamics 365, BizTalk, BizTalk360, Red Prairie
Provide application support for Internal and field staff whilst working with 3rd Party Software Suppliers to incident resolution.
Daily checks of BizTalk application exception alerts, identification of failed messages and fixing and resubmitting of said failed messages.
Develop test cases and scripts when new solutions and projects are implemented to ensure that solutions are tested in a failure as well as successful situation.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of business application support techniques and methodologies including documentation that support issue resolution and detail root cause analysis to aid in prevention of recurring issues.
Identify bug fixes required, communicate those to third party support providers and maintain communications between stakeholders until resolution.
Appropriately escalate incidents, problems and bugs via the correct channels to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
Educated to degree level or 3-5 years in a similar role
SQL query language skills
SQL database operation
Experience of ERP processes and associated business processes (high level)
Experience of WMS processes and associated business processes (high level)
Familiar with interfacing between systems - flat file, API, microservices etc.
Experience with Dynamics 2012 or above and Dynamics 365
Experience with Biztalk and BizTalk 360
Experience with WMS (Red Prairie an advantage)
Familiarity with MS Server technology (application logs and ability to restart when needed)
