As an Assistant Accountant, you will support the Finance Manager with
- Preparing monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals and prepayments
- Managing budgets and providing budget holders with updates
- Monitoring accounts payable
- Conducting financial analysis and generating reports
- Preparing information for the annual audit
This role would be best suited to someone who is AAT qualified and/or Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA.
In addition to your professional studies/qualification you will bring with you experience of working within a varied accounting role and preferably have already had exposure to supporting with management accounts prep.
Initially you will be employed on a temporary basis, with the possibility of converting to a permanent contract in future.
Their offices are based in Cambridge and hybrid working is available, working 2-3 days on site a week. They have plenty of free parking on site and are easily accessible by public transport.
