The ONE Group are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a globally renowned organisation, who have a fantastic presence as an employer in the local area. As a result of the exciting growth plans they have in place for the both the short and long term, they are now looking to appoint an ambitious, up and coming accountant to join their head office accounting function as Assistant Financial Accountant.
Working closely with the Financial Accountant, along with a number of senior finance professionals within the team. This opportunity would provide a fantastic platform for an AAT Qualified or Part ACCA qualified accountant, who is keen to maximise their potential whilst working in a fast paced environment.
Day to duties include:
- Assisting with the production of statutory accounts.
- Monthly and annual financial reporting.
- Managing the fixed asset register.
- Balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations.
- Deputising for the Financial Accountant when needed.
So what does the right candidate look like? As mentioned above an AAT Qualified or Part ACCA Qualified is their preference, as is someone who knows the difference between their debits and credits! Aside from this they are able to provide the training and support needed to those lacking experience in certain areas, so don't worry if you don't tick every box on the list!
As a business, flexibility and employee wellbeing is at the heart of what they do. With this in mind you will only be required to enter the office once a month, you can spend the remainder of the month working from wherever you feel most comfortable if that's from home then great if you prefer being in the office then that's great too!
The salary for the role is paying circa £30,000 per annum plus study support.
