Our client is a local success story that has experienced extensive growth over the past few years and this shows no sign of slowing down.

Due to impending maternity leave, they are now looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join them for a period of 12 months with a start as soon as possible.

Reporting in to the Financial Controller your role will be exciting and varied and duties will include;

Involvement in preparation of monthly management accounts for the site.
Maintaining Fixed Asset register and depreciation journal
Accruals and prepayments
Balance sheet reconciliations
Monthly cost centre reviews
Preparation and submission of VAT returns
Weekly cash reporting
Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
Ad hoc analysis

This role offers great scope for someone to gain some great experience working for a business that has a history of staff retention and engagement.

The successful candidate will ideally be AAT qualified or studying towards their ACCA or CIMA or qualified by experience. Strong Excel skills are essential for this role alongside an enthusiastic and can-do approach.

Currently working remotely, in the next few months the business will be returning to the office but until then you will have the opportunity to work with a team who are all about inclusion and enjoying what they do whilst working hard.
