We're supporting a lovely company based near St Ives, Cambridgeshire who are now looking for two Technicians to work on the assembly and test of biosensors.

The Role:
- Work closely with the R&D team to ensure fabrication and analysis are carried out according to SOPs
- Carry out characterisation, electrical test and measurement of devices and collate results
- Support scale up of processing and test to prototype scale, preparing biosensors for trials
- Perform functionalisation using surface chemistry and processing
- Look for ways to suggest potential improvements, troubleshooting issues and developing solutions to resolve
- Maintain and operate standard lab equipment
About You:
- This role would suit someone with an Engineering/Physics/Materials Science/Chemistry/Biochemistry degree OR relevant industrial experience
- GCSEs in English and Maths as a minimum
- At least 2 years' experience of working in an R&D/lab/production facility carrying out fabrication and/or characterisation of thin film materials or devices, ideally involving solution processing
