I have a client, a specialist in the flooring industry, looking for a Business Development Co-ordinator to join their expanding company in a brand-new role working in their flat roofing sector. This company takes great pride in the work they do for their existing and new clients, as well as ensuring customer satisfaction throughout every project.

If you are within a commutable distance of Peterborough this role could be ideal. The position would initially be office based, upon completion of training, transitioning into a field-based role, with site visits becoming more of a regular occurrence. You will be tasked with selling to FM companies across East Anglia and then expanding to the Southeast.

The ideal candidate should either have experience in field sales and is looking to get into the roofing industry or have hands on experience of installing flat roofing systems and is looking to get into field sales. Candidates should be tenacious, team player and be confident selling both on the phone and in person.
Responsibilities include:

• Lead salesperson, responsible for the revenue streams of their products
• Develop a client portfolio from warm leads
• Promote the systems to new clients
• Work alongside the Commercial Director to define business development strategy
