My client who are a leading Precision Engineering company in Cambridgeshire are currently seeking a machinist to join the company to Programme, Set and Operate Milling machines with Fanuc or Haas controls on a night shift.

The company supply into the Medical, Aerospace, Automotive and Motorsport sectors and are continually growing and investing in new plant equipment. The business has a great reputation for quality work, looking after their staff and welcomes new passionate engineers. The position can be spread out over Monday-Wednesday night or Monday-Thursday night working a 37.5 hour week.

The company have a range of different 3,4 and 5 axis milling machines ranging from Maatsuras to Mori-Seiki machines are looking for competent Programmer, Setter, Operators experienced with Fanuc or Haas controls, if you have had exposure to CAD/CAM packages and machining castings this would give you a distinct advantage.

The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work on several exciting projects within the company across the sectors they supply into especially within the Motorsport side of things where you will have the opportunity to manufacture components for some of the leading engine and transmissions manufacturers.

So, lets recap, you're a competent CNC Programmer familiar with Haas and Fanuc controls with exposure to CAD/CAM packages, looking to join a company who are continually investing in equipment and are motivated to look after their employees I could well have the role for you.
