CNC Turner- Permanent- Bedfordshire

We're currently working with the leading manufacturer of industrial braking systems! Enjoying excellent success even during the COVID climate due to their ability to maintain supply and delivery to their customers on a global basis. No mean feat and certainly something inspiring on what has been achieved.

Due to growth we are looking for a CNC Turner to join a close-knit manufacturing team on a permanent basis at their site in Bedford.

What's required:

The role would suit a CNC Machinist who is experienced in setting and operating a number of CNC Lathes with Panic controls and experienced in machining metallics.

The company design, manufacture and supply braking technologies for industrial applications and offer the largest range of disc brake callipers which you'll be machining components for.

Accurately reading the engineering drawings and creating precision engineering to match these is vital to success in the role. Using inspection equipment is also key to producing the excellent standard of engineering required.

You'll be setting & operating the Lathes using Fanuc based control systems.

The role will join their manufacturing team on a two-shift system working Monday-Thursday 6am-2:30pm and Friday 6am-10am and on the late shift Monday- Thursday 2:30pm-pm and Friday 10:30am- 3pm.
