The ONE Group are delighted to be partnering with a world renowned FMCG organisation, who are part of an even larger group. Following an upcoming internal promotion they are now looking to appoint a qualified, commercially focused and ambitious accountant join them in an incredibly varied and diverse Commercial Finance Business Partner role.

In short, if you are looking an outward facing FBP role then they don't come much better than this one! The core focus of your role will be Partnering with the Sales & Marketing team to drive commercial and financial performance. This will include conversations around costing, competitors and even branding and consumer target markets!

Don't worry about the above removing you away from your BAU pedigree either, you will also be heading up period end reporting for the business and will manage outsourced transactional processes (no hands on transactional work, running a fine tooth comb through debtor reports and challenging if needed).

So what does there perfect person look like? You will need to be a Qualified Accountant (Ideally CIMA), with a proven track record of building relationship with stakeholders and Partnering with them to aid in key decision making. Previous experience in manufacturing/FMCG isn't essential but is desirable.

The business are currently operating on a hybrid working model split between their Peterborough office and the comfort of your own home and as a business they have a very positive outlook on internal progression and development so you can rest easy knowing that opportunities will present themselves as you perform well within the business.

The salary for the role is paying between £50,000 to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience and skillset.
