The Finance & Accountancy Division at The One Group are currently partnering exclusively to recruit a Commercial Finance Business Partner UK (Bolton Site) for a manufacturing business who are global leader within their profession. This is a exciting Finance Business Partner Role for someone who will be a strong number 2 to the Head of Finance (UK and Ireland) and keen to take on the HoF role in the coming years. As the Commercial Finance Business Partner UK, you will have strong involvement with Sales / Service Managers and with EMEA HQ Finance Teams.
As the Commercial Finance Business Partner UK, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
Responsible for the day to day commercial finance activities for the UK business
Collaborate with senior management to establish KPIs, challenge performance to drive improvements and present KPis to SMTs using Excel and Power BI.
Performing month-end, quarterly and annual closing processes including inventory valuation, ensuring submissions within deadlines and in accordance with US SOX controls
Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Develop financial reporting templates for reporting process efficiencies.
Analyse P&L performance regularly, report on account manager performance vs. targets.
Maintain focus on service business unit and profitability.
Support local SOX/Audit compliance efforts
Conduct full P&L reviews for Budgets, Forecasts vs. Actuals, and variance analysis.
Develop reporting tools using ERP and BI software.
Identify key process improvements aimed at cost reduction and efficiency enhancements
Build strong relationships with business management, contributing to decision-making processes

Key Attributes and Experiences required:
Finalist of CIMA or ACCA qualification highly valued.
Minimum 3 years of commercial finance experience.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with management reporting applications.
Experience with SAP/MS Navision is highly desirable.
Fluent in English; proficiency in other EU languages is a plus but not essential
Full driving license required.
