The ONE Group are delighted to be partnering with a well established FMCG business who are part of a wider, globally recognised group. Following a positive restructure to support the growth of the business, they are now looking to appoint an ambitious and forward thinking individual who can join them in a Cost Accountant role which will be a fantastic education into stakeholder management and business exposure.
In this role you will work deputise for an experienced Finance Manager and will work closely with numerous budget holders within the business.
Duties will include;
- Analysis and reporting of balance sheet accounts.
- Supporting the production of reports to highlight and challenge variances in forecasts vs actuals.
- Liaise with budget holders to produce cost reports.
- Improving cost information processes, to enhance their speed and accuracy.
As the business grows you will also have the opportunity to progress into the wider finance team, they will also provide you with the support needed to get through the remainder of your studies.
Their office is Peterborough based, however the finance team are currently home based and this majority of your working week will be spent at home for the foreseeable future. With that being said the successful candidate will need to be in a commutable distance to the office for sporadic on site meetings with stakeholders.
The salary is paying up to £35,000 per annum plus study support.
