Creative Traffic Manager

This Marketing agency have a growing portfolio of Global FMCG Clients so they need your project management skills to ensure creative workload is managed effectively. As a Creative Traffic Manager you will need to have a keen eye for design, a creative passion and flair and be highly skilled at allocating resources, monitoring and reporting on the project status. You will need to thrive working within a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, juggling resources and communicating effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, depict & control the creative workload across allocated team
  • Plan, coordinate & depict internal matters across allocated team
  • Ensure deadlines, timings, & resource budgets are met
  • Booking negotiation & stakeholder management
  • Facilitate and chair team resource planning meetings
  • Source freelance talent & build relationships accordingly
  • Purchasing of external resource & services, both human (freelance / supplier) & digital
  • Set up and maintain tools that deliver necessary comms, planning & project management workflows
  • Cover other Resource Managers allocated teams as necessary
  • Work with Creative Directors to recommend necessary human resources per project / team
  • Work with Creative Directors to provide estimates & quotations
  • Work with Creative Directors to administrate / approve staff Holiday & Absence approval processes
  • Digital asset file transfers and housekeeping
  • Train, monitor & help develop process compliance across allocated team
  • Monitor, collect & report on KPI data
  • Work with Creative Directors and Creative leads to deliver effective staff performance reviews & PDPs
  • Mentor a junior / middleweight Resource Coordinator & administration role​

Required Skills:

  • Thorough competency of typical contemporary project management / MIS tools (current examples: Monday.com, Asana, Wrike, etc)
  • Spreadsheet wizardry for both planning and data analysis (e.g. XL, Google Sheets, Smartsheets)
  • Change management around ways of working and tools
  • Negotiation, and handling difficult conversations successfully
  • Deep traversing of creative studio platforms, software & OS filing systems
  • Internal & external network data traversing
  • High level self-organisation and planning
  • Outstandingly clear and concise verbal & written communication
  • Soft people skills - a 'manager skill-set'
