The One Group are recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a hugely successful business in Peterborough who are growing year on year consistently. This role would see you sitting within a friendly finance team, on a full time, permanent basis, reporting directly into the Sales Ledger Manager.
This role would see you working Monday - Friday 9am-5.30pm and responsibilities will include:
- Identify outstanding debt and organise priority for collection
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure disputed invoices are resolved smoothly, to enable collection
- Chase overdue invoices by telephone and email within agreed timescales
- Where applicable negotiate and maintain payment plans
- Investigate and defend where applicable Chargebacks
- Follow up on failed CPA payments
- Maintain Aged Debt spreadsheet and provide weekly report to Head of Finance
- Daily Bank Reconciliation
- Allocating payments received
- Processing Refunds
This role will see you working from the office in Peterborough, five days per week and so, living within a commutable distance is essential.
Prior experience within a credit control/sales ledger focused position would be essential to ensure you could hit the ground running within the role.
In return you will be offered between £25,000-£26,000 per annum.
