Title: Product Development Manager (Product Design Engineer)
Salary: - £40,000 - £45,000 per year (DOE)
Location: Kings Lynn, Norfolk (Hybrid Working Policy)
Duration: Permanent Job
Hours: Mon-Fri (8am - 5pm)

Established since 1989, their mission is to deliver the very best in gym equipment alongside whilst staying at the forefront of design.

They are looking for a Product Development Manager (Product Design Engineer) to join them on their next stage of their journey. Reporting directly into the Managing Director, this role is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with a strong interest in Health, Fitness or Sports Performance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage & develop the product development process.
• Identify key products for development.
• Develop & implement product strategies in line with the companies objectives.
• Look to refine existing products.
• Produce design drawings.
• Create packaging design and specifications.
• Liaise with suppliers.
• Liaise with other departments on the launch of new products.
• Set product quality and performance standards.
• Supporting metalwork customers with fabrication drawings.

The ideal candidate:

• Experience with CAD (Ideally Solidworks or similar).
• Well organised & excellent project management skills.
• Good understanding of gym equipment.
• Good understanding of general engineering processes.
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
• Experience working within Health & Fitness or Sports Performance
