We've been delighted to witness this start-up's growth after the last 12 months or so. They're passionate about quantum technology and whilst rapidly growing, have been awarded several multi-million government projects and plan to launch products this year!

Whilst the team has been expanding, they're now looking for a Detector Scientist to be part of their success. You might have just gained your PhD, or perhaps you have a few years' industrial experience, too. You will need to have studied semiconductors and/or photonic devices, or something transferable. And you'll have programming skills; preferably Python.

Hopefully, you'll also have some of the following skills and experience…

  • Design & test of (optically-addressed) semiconductor structures for quantum, photonic or optoelectronic applications
  • Experimental skills and and an understanding of optical, electrical, transport, and related characterisation measurements
  • You know how to use high-rate oscilloscopes, arbitrary waveform generators, source-measure units, power-meters, multimeters, pulsed lasers, RF generators, etc….

If you're looking for a company where you can grow, learn and truly be supported in a diverse and friendly environment, we can't recommend these people highly enough. If you've just read this blurb and would like to have a chat about the company in more detail, please do apply and one of our dedicated consultants would be eager to arrange a call with you.
