The One Group are working with a leading manufacturer of off highway machinery and natural gas and diesel engines and are seeking a Embedded Software Verification Engineer to join the team on a 12 month contract.

This is a pivotal role in the development of Engine Control Software where you will be working with the Electronics team and development partners to verify software for Engines.

The day to day duties of the Embedded Software Engineer include:
* Conduct verification tests of software features to ensure the quality of released software and the overall system. Analyze the test results to find any errors.
* Support development and maintenance of the dSPACE Hardware-in-Loop test system and the automated verification framework including input/output components i.e sensors, and actuators to the dSpace HIL test system.
* Work with systems engineers to write Functional Test Procedures from Requirements and technical documents.
* Perform testing, verification, debugging and troubleshooting of software and calibration data

This role is seen as a junior role where you will be coordinating test plans and running equipment, running the tests and analysing the results.

The company are looking to pay £19 per hour PAYE or £24 per hour umbrella company.
