We're working with a leading life science company whose products are in labs all over the world. In this Field Service Technician role, you'll be looking after some of their larger equipment like -70c freezers. This will include servicing and calibrating. Some of it is pretty bulky and heavy, so you should be comfortable with a reasonable level of manual handling.
The areas you'll be covering will primarily be London and the South-East (there may occasionally be some additional locations) and a vehicle and fuel card will be provided. You can expect to be 'on the road' up to 5 days a week. You may be required to be flexible for some occasional overnight stays. A full driving licence is essential.
It would be really useful if you are familiar with laboratory equipment, but not essential. Good customer support skills are necessary, ideally with a technical background/qualification and some experience working in field service. Electro-mechanical skills are required and you will need to be able to keep accurate records and documentation.
A decent, negotiable salary is on offer, along with a company bonus, healthcare, dental cover and life insurance. We're looking for people who can start as soon as possible, so please get in touch for a chat ASAP!
