We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant on behalf of an agricultural business based on the outskirts of Cambridge, this position will be on a contract basis for 3 months with the potential to move into a permanent position.

You will report into the Financial Controller and will mainly be responsible for the Purchase Ledger function and ensuring that the invoicing is processed accurately and efficiently, the main duties are as follows -

- Sort, code and match invoices to purchase orders

- Upload invoices

- Process staff expenses

- Reconcile supplier statements

- Process journals

- Support with month end when required

This position requires somebody with previous finance experience or a finance related qualification that is looking to gain hands on experience. You will be working from home initially but travel to the office will be essential in July 2021.
