The ONE Group are delighted to be partnering with a well regarded organisation, who have a positive reputation in the local area. Following a restructure within their Senior Finance function, they are now looking to appoint an established Finance Business Partner to their Peterborough office on a Fixed Term Contract of 6 to 9 Months (with a view to a permanent role if suits both parties).
In this role you will be tasked with primary objective of being the person who can bridge the gap between the finance team all the other functions within the organisation. You will work very closely with budget holders n numerous business areas, you will prepare and present various reports and provide them with expert insight to aid them with key decision making.
As well as the above you will still be able to keep your technical skills up to scratch by being heavily evolved in BAU Management Accounting and month end procedures.
So what does the perfect candidate look like? It goes without saying that they will need a qualified accountant who is technically sound, however in addition to this (and arguably more importantly) they need a confident and enthusiastic person who generally enjoys contributing to high level discussions and rubbing shoulders with senior stakeholders.
Although the business are Peterborough based, the role will be Primarily based from home and travel to office will only be required a couple of days a month.
The salary for the role ranges between £48,000 & £56,000 per annum.
