Roles such as this one don't arise very often and as such I am delighted to be recruiting for an established organisation who have offices in and around the East Anglia region.

This excellent opportunity will suit someone who has headed up a team and is looking for the the next step in their career where they can be a key member of the senior management team in a flourishing practice.

The role will be broad in it's responsibilities which will include;

• Leading and developing a team
• Production of monthly management accounts reviewing performance on a regular basis
• Production of annual statutory accounts and working closely with auditors
• Producing board packs
• Production and review of budgets and forecasts
• Project work and investigations
• Involvement in preparation of tenders
• Working closely with senior leadership team to ensure that all areas of finance work in harmony and add value to the wider business

Experience working in the legal sector would be a distinct bonus but if you have experience working in a practice environment that would be beneficial.

Proven experience of people management and leading a team to success is also very important as are up to date technical accounting skills and a recognised accountancy qualification.

Whilst you base of work will be Huntingdon, there is also scope to work out of offices in Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire if desired and additionally you will have the opportunity to take advantage of hybrid working.

This role will play a key part in the continued development of the practice and offers autonomy and support in equal measure.
