I'm excited to be able to offer a 6-month fixed-term contract to play a key role in the roll-out of a new finance system implementation project (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central) for a progressive and values-led organisation in the healthcare sector.
This role requires a blend of finance and technical systems knowledge and will be working from their offices near Cambourne, with occasional travel to sites across the East of England.
About the Role
You will support the end-to-end implementation of the new system, collaborating with finance leadership, operational teams, and software partners to ensure successful delivery. You'll help shape processes, drive testing and training, lead data cleansing and migration activities.
This project is ideal for someone who:
- Has previously worked on system implementations (specifically finance/ERP systems)
- Brings strong finance process knowledge - from AP to Management Accounting
- Can coordinate across teams with a hands-on and solution-focused approach
- Is confident managing data, testing plans, and change with attention to detail
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support all phases of the finance system roll-out
- Data cleansing and migration from legacy systems
- Help design procurement, stock, and invoice automation processes
- Support user training and internal communications
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders and software providers
What You'll Bring
- Hands-on experience supporting finance system implementations
- Good understanding of finance operations and workflows
- Strong communication (verbal and written), organisational and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (desirable but not essential)
