The role will have technical focus and duties will include;

Interim and full year consolidation process
Working closely with external auditors during reporting cycles
Managing monthly group reporting cycle
UK statutory accounts preparation and finalisation with auditors
Overview of treasury management, cash forecasting and payment control
Working on preliminary and final budget process, ensuring readiness for delivery of reports to board
Looking after financial projections, ensuring key variances are fully explained
Ad hoc monthly internal management reporting

This role will play a key part in the group reporting of the business and requires a post-qualified individual who will likely have trained in practice, probably a larger firm.

Experience of statutory accounting for large group businesses is key as are advanced IT skills, notably Excel. If you have experience working with ERP systems then that would be a distinct bonus.

Whilst the business that you will be working for is large, the team is relatively small and as a result it is essential that you are someone who can interact well with others and collaborate, working towards one goal.
