A pioneer in the field of Biotech and Life Science manufacturing that are internationally recognised as an innovator within their sector. Their business continues to grow and as such they are currently looking to expand their finance team with an experienced Financial Accountant.

Reporting into the Financial Controller you will be taking a key role in writing and improving the companies accounting policies and documentation and making sure they are implemented properly. You'll also be looking at the internal financial systems and making sure everything is running as efficiently as possible.

Being a manufacturer of innovative life science technology Research & Development makes up a large part of their business so responsibilities will also include developing R&D project reporting as well as assisting the Compliance Manager on HMRC tax policy under IFRS frameworks. You'll be attending monthly and quarterly R&D meetings to keep up to date on all projects in the implementation phase.

Owing to the technical nature of the role it will be well suited to someone from a biotech, pharmaceutical or manufacturing background, or, a first time mover from a large Practice, with a preference for those who are ACA qualified.
