The ONE Group are delighted to be partnering with a PE backed services business based on the outskirts of Peterborough. They are now keen to add a Financial Controller to their finance function in a role which will be a crucial part of them achieving their ambitious growth plans in the coming years.

Mentored by their impressive CFO, the Financial Controller will play a key role in bridging the gap between finance department and the board of directors. As well as acting as the main business partner for senior stakeholders on all things finance.

Duties and responsibilities in the role will include:

• Day to day management of the finance and billing teams.
• Partnering with commercial and operational stakeholders, assisting with strategic decision making.
• Preparing monthly management accounts.
• Quarterly and annual budgeting and forecasting.
• Leading the company's audit process.
• Identifying areas to improve processes.

So what would the ideal candidate look like? They are looking for a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA), with experience in managing and mentoring a team. A commercial acumen and keen interest in systems is also needed.

They are paying between £50,000 & £60,000 per annum for the role will also offer a bonus which pays up to 15% dependant on company performance.

Due to the tight knit, hands on culture the business promotes, you would ideally need to be at the office for at least 4 days a week.
