The ONE Group are delighted to be partnering with an exciting and innovative FMCG organisation, who have some huge growth plans in place for the coming years! With these plans in mind they are now looking to appoint a new Financial Controller to join the on a full time, permanent basis.
In this role you will reporting directly into the Finance Director, who has a huge background in the FMCG sector and has the experience needed to drive the business forward. The FC will be their perfect running mate and in turn they will offer you the development and support needed to grow alongside the business
On a day to day basis your duties will involve;
- Preparation of month end accounts together including reconciliations, journal entries and accruals/prepayments.
- Preparation and reporting of weekly KPI information
- Managing, mentoring, developing and motivating the junior members of the finance team
- Liaising with external stakeholders including bankers, insurers, advisors and auditors as required
- Managing the year end audit process and oversee the preparation of year end statutory accounts
- Providing assistance and guidance with costing models and budgeting processes.
To be considered for the role you will ideally be a qualified accountant with a varied background in both management and financial accounting, FMCG experience is highly desirable.
The role is paying up to £60,000 per annum depending on skills and experience and due to the nature of the business it is 100% site based.
