Our client has weathered Covid well. Their order book is growing and the future is exceptionally bright.

As a result of this positive market they are looking to further grow their FP&A function by adding a qualified individual to work closely with the head of the department with the end gain of improving the quality and depth of information that is provided to stakeholders and board level personnel.

A varied position, your duties will include;

Production of monthly reporting, forecasting and budgeting packs
Developing and improving monthly reporting processes
Providing support for systems and processes for group finance
Investigating and reconciling historic balances
Supporting the implementation of a new finance consolidation system
Producing ad hoc and well presented MI data

The success of this role will be measured in the right candidate being able to simplify and present data in a clean and pragmatic manner

As well as being a qualified accountant (or one close to completing their exams) the right person will have proven experience working in a similar role and will be a completer-finisher who is capable and confident of presenting to board level individuals and non-finance individuals.

The ability to write insightful reports and commentary is a key attribute as are advanced IT skills - notably Excel - and experience in report writing software.

Whilst this role is initially for a 12 month period, there is a strong possibility that it could become permanent should the individual succeed in the position.

Interviews will be taking place remotely in the first instance and then a further meeting will be on site.
