This charity based in Huntingdon are looking for an experienced Individual Giving Officer/Fundraising Officer with strong direct & digital marketing skills to continue the success of their current programme on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave. The role will be paying between £22,000-£28,000pa and is looking to start ASAP.

In this role, you will be working alongside the Director of Fundraising to produce and execute an effective and sustainable plan in order to grow income from new and existing donors. You will be identifying potential new giving audiences alongside implementing acquisition strategies, as well as creating effective donor journeys whilst managing budgets, forecasting and tracking. There will be some Project Management duties within the role also including; managing the aspects of the lottery programme, managing campaigns and managing/developing support communications - for example newsletter and post appeal communications. Data Management and Reporting is also an essential part of this role - you will be managing the selection and segmentation of data for campaign purposes, whilst ensuring accurate and timely import and export of donor data. You may also be using campaign data to track and report on effectiveness of activity, attrition to inform decision making and future planning.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience of managing large scale giving activity including appeals, recruitment campaigns and retention communications to achieve income targets across mail, phone, e-mail, social mediate and through face-to-face fundraising. Experience of data selection and segmentation is essential, along with good knowledge/experience of using a fundraising database. You must have a proven ability to manage relationships with third party suppliers, as well as a proven ability to work closely with internal team members whilst being self-sufficient and confident in making decisions.
