This Group Tax Manager role has opportunity, scope and excitement and the cherry on top is that you will work remotely with a monthly team meet-up.

This role will take sole responsibility for tax matters of a global business and will be a key link in the chain around the world but will have the benefit of local advisors around the world.

The duties will be wide-ranging and will include;

Responsibility for the compliance and planning process for direct and indirect taxes across multiple countries, acting as primary point of contact for queries
Completion of CIT returns for four UK businesses
UK share option filing
Group tax reporting and forecasting
Working closely with local auditors at year end
Supporting legal and sales teams with queries in areas such as WHT and profit extraction
Review of transfer pricing policy and documentation
Providing advice on UK and international indirect tax matters
Ad hoc project work

This role will suit someone who is post qualified and has proven experience of taxation. Experience working in the commercial sector would be ideal but is not essential as someone who is looking to make their first move from practice in to industry will be equally considered.

Key attributes that will contribute to the success of this role are tenacity, a keen technical acuity and a professional attitude.

This role will provide an outstanding opportunity for someone to cut their teeth in a commercial business that is in a niche sector and experiencing health growth year on year.

Future expansion by acquisition is planned and this role will play a key part in the smooth running and integration of all matters from a tax perspective.

This will be a fully remote role with the exception of the occasional team meeting and therefore we welcome applications from the UK as long as it is viable to travel to Cambridgeshire once a month.
