Head of Communications (Maternity cover)

This position is a 9-12 month contract opportunity working for an amazing cause. My client are an International charity and limited company who's mission is to ensure the trade in wild animals and plants is not a threat to the conservation of nature.

Based in their central Cambridge HQ 2-3 times a week, your role will include managing, coordinating, planning, implementing and reporting on the charity's communication strategy; Provide support and guidance to delegations attending pivotal international events and seek opportunities to influence on the issues through communications channels; Ensure internal coordination between the communications group and other components of the Global Offices and participates in internal management; Ensure effective development and management of communications budgets; Oversees development, management, and maintenance of the website; Directly manage a communication team of 4 and much, much more.
