The value of the illegal trade of wildlife is estimated to be worth around £15 billion annually, the fourth biggest illegal trade in the world. The One Group are proud to be working with an international recognised charity who have been tirelessly working towards the conservation of wildlife around the world for over 45 years.
They are now looking for a new Head of Finance to lead the global finance function into the future.

As the Head of Finance, you will be leading the development and efficiency of the global finance function. Working closely with the Director of Operations you'll be playing a key role in the growth of the organisation, implementing future compliance, controls, and finance strategies.
You'll have the autonomy to take ownership of your role, preparing and managing month-end reporting, balance sheet controls and reconciliations, financial analysis for future planning and forecasting cash flows, annual budgeting, supporting the annual statutory accounts, leading the annual external audit process, and consolidated financial management reports for submission to the UK Charity Trustees and their Operations Committee.
An ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification is a requirement, and Candidates need to have experience working within other complex Charity organisations and knowledge of relevant legislation.
