Wanted: Experienced HGV Technician to join a long standing, family run business that have been running for 45 years. They are currently on a big recruitment drive and I'm looking for an experienced Mechanic / Fitter who wants career progression, development & a rewarding career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in HGVs.
• Conduct thorough inspections and identify potential problems, making recommendations for repairs.
• Replace and repair damaged or worn-out parts.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Skills & Experience Needed:

• Experience as an HGV Fitter or within a Mechanical environment
• Knowledge of either HGV systems, engines, or mechanical components.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and diagrams.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant certifications and licenses, as required.
• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with regulations.
